LET NOT YOUR HEART BE TROUBLED

The reason people are so filled with fear is they have put their trust in man and his “princes”. In Ps. 146 we read: 3 “Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.” Why would that be? Romans 3:23: “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,” so, since man is a sinner, we shouldn’t trust in him, but only trust in the sinless. There’s only one sinless man and that’s Jesus. So, leave the fear to the sinners and give Jesus your trust. Didn’t he promise us in Ps. 91: 3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. 4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. Man can’t promise that and even if he did promise it, he never keeps his promises. Jesus always keeps his promises so we can rest in those. “Let not your heart be troubled” Jesus said in John 14. We are His and He will take care of His own. Don’t let fear steal your joy. Don’t let fear make your faith falter. Jesus is about to come for His church; so don’t think this late in the age He will allow harm to come to his church. He said the gates of hell can not prevail over his church, ( Matt. 16:18) so take that to heart. The end of the age is at hand and Jesus is coming for his church any day now. Encourage one another rather than spreading the world’s fear.
