Travelers at LaGuardia Airport’s Terminal B were briefly evacuated Saturday morning because of a suspicious package.
Security received reports of the unknown parcel in a non-public area of Terminal B around 6:29 a.m., the Port Authority Police told The Post.
All would-be travelers who had not been screened through security were evacuated and told to wait outside.
“I was very close to the front. I started seeing TSA agents telling everyone to stop screening. One agent was speaking on the radio,” passenger Robert Baston told The Post.
“After that they told everyone to evacuate the terminal. Everyone was outside to the passenger drop off area…The TSA agents, they haven’t really told us anything,” he shrugged.
Baston, 47, from Queens, had an 8:10 Southwest flight to Denver.

“I was worried about the storm in Denver. I was expecting a delay, but not like this.”
The airport’s official X page confirmed police activity at Terminal B would likely disrupt flights.
Passengers were then moved to the parking lot, they wrote on X.
The NYPD bomb squad arrived and gave the airport the all-clear just before 8 a.m.
