WILL CHILDREN BE RAPTURED
by: Linda Kirby/WGON

I've heard this question many times these days since our time is short and evil is so pronounced. We are seeing children commit such horrible crimes so people are now wondering if ALL children will be raptured. I find that answer in Deuteronomy 1:39: "Moreover your little ones, which ye said should be a prey, and your children, which in that day had no knowledge between good and evil, they shall go in thither, and unto them will I give it, and they shall possess it." If you recall, the Israelites were so disobedient that God only allowed the children and those who remained obedient to God to go into the promised land. Notice what God said in that verse..." your children, which in that day had no knowledge between good and evil," Today, children get knowledge of good and evil at a much younger age. Thus, if we use this verse as the type and shadow it's meant to be, then one would think that there will be children left behind at the rapture. God talks about the innocents of children. However, due to the evil in the world, children are losing their innocence earlier all the time.
Jonah 4:11: " And should not I pity Nineveh, that great city, in which there are more than 120,000 persons who do not know their right hand from their left, and also much cattle?” Many believe this passage is saying that God will save Nineveh if they repent because of those who are children. Others believe it means anyone who isn't able to understand because of some sort of mental problem. But, either way you look at this verse, it shows that God will be merciful to the little ones or anyone with a mind of a child. Sadly, however, those children who have allowed evil to direct their paths rather than God directing them, might not be so fortunate.
We need to pray for those who have allowed evil to enter them at such a young age. God doesn't want anyone to perish, but especially not the innocent.
