9 schools in New Jersey receive bomb and mass shooting threats Herald Voice

MY COMMENTARY:

I have a viewer of my videos tell me she just put up a video about a kid playing a video game to go watch it, it's big news. So, I did and the kid said, to his gaming buddies, the reason he's home from school today is because of a bomb threat. He found out from other gamers that these threats are up and down the east coast. I found an article that says Walmart in FL has had 2 bomb threats in a week. I will be posting that article shortly...if I don't forget..LOL So, guys, I am worried about the schools and the SuperBowl!!

Students at some of the schools were evacuated into the very cold temperatures during the police investigation. All nine schools are located in Bergen County. Police in Garfield say they're taking police dogs through all of its schools, but that the message had been left with the high school. Bomb threats were phoned in to at least nine schools in New Jersey on Tuesday, forcing evacuations or lockdowns, a spokesman for the Bergen County Sheriff said. The Clifton Police Department said on Facebook that other school districts in the area received similar threats. Officials at schools in Teaneck, Garfield, Tenafly, Clifton, Fair Lawn, Leonia, Bergenfield, Englewood and Hackensack received threats by someone who claimed to have planted a bomb. A caller also said he set bombs at the schools. The threat involved the placement of a bomb in a Clifton school and a threat of a "mass shooting", Tuesday, police said. Police and district officials began investigating the threat at Clifton High School, Bracken said. Students were dismissed Tuesday from three schools in MA, including Arlington High School, Groton Middle School and the Florence Roche School. Leonia Police Chief Thomas Rowe said the threat did not appear to be credible. Clifton High School was locked down following the threat and there is "no indication" the threat is valid, Bracken said.
