They’re going for the gold alright.
Team USA athletes at the 2024 Paris Olympics are flaunting their swag on social media – and the value of the nearly 100 corporate freebies gifted to every athlete amounts to about $12,600 each, a Post analysis of the “haul” videos found.
In four separate TikTok clips, swimmer Mariah Denigan shows off the scores of products she and the other 591 American athletes received upon their arrival at the Olympic Village.
They included 11 items from Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS totaling approximately $600; 34 gifts from Nike worth about $2,250; and 28 Ralph Lauren togs totaling $8,000.
Team USA provided about 20 more bits for around $1,750, including separate pairs of Oakley sunglasses – one costs $275, and the other $204 – as well as a Hamilton Watch. The Post found a similar one on their website for $1,045.
In a TikTok posted Wednesday, American volleyball star TJ DeFalco, 27, giggled while pulling a pair of tighty-whities adorned with American flags from his SKIMS duffel.
In another video, Denigan, 21, appears elated as she pulls a $64 navy blue SKIMS bodysuit with the words “Team USA” splayed across the chest.
“I am so excited . . . it’s so cute,” she gushed in the video, which amassed 400,000 views by Friday.
“Oh my gosh, I can’t wait to wear everything,” echoed American canoeist, Evy Leibfarth, in her own TikTok video where she shared the contents of a giant white SKIMS duffel, which included a $148 Olympic-themed bathrobe.
In a separate clip that’s racked up 5.2 million views, Leibfarth shows her Nike haul, including a $55 pair of white slides, two pairs of sneakers, six pairs of shorts, 10 athletic tops, two hats and more.
Ralph Lauren supplied the athletes with luxury apparel items like a $498 satin bomber jacket, $398 cotton sweater and outfits to wear to the opening and closing ceremonies – both of which cost a combined total of $5,000 per Team USA member.
According to the swanky fashion brand’s website, just the Opening Ceremony blazer and the Closing Ceremony jacket alone each go for $998 – making them the most expensive items American players were gifted for the games.
Volleyball player Kelsey Robinson Cook showed off the watch: “I usually give this to my dad,” the 32-year-old hitter said.
