Black Chicago citizens blast Dem mayor for funneling another $70 MILLION to illegal immigrants, asks Trump to 'please come see us in Chicago'

On Wednesday, Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson was eviscerated by voters in the black community who expressed grievances over his request for an additional $70 million in taxpayer funds to address the illegal immigration crisis that has landed on Chicago streets.

During this week's city council meeting, critics insisted that the progressive mayor use the money to support tax-paying neighborhoods that are in dire need of addressing detrimental issues, such as an increase in violent crime and overdose deaths.

Many of them were wearing Trump campaign "MAGA hats," which sent a strong message to the democrat-run city as the black community continues to move its support away from the Democrat Party.

"I'm asking y'all to use our tax money for our people," said P. Rae Easley, a resident of the west side of Chicago who was wearing a MAGA hat while making her request.

"We need it. We got people leaning. We got people rocking. We got overdosing. We got pass out lines. You live on the west side of Mayor Johnson. You know exactly what I'm talking about," she continued. "We need the money for us."

Easley spoke out about the increase in crime and overdose deaths that have plagued Chicago's black communities and slammed the idea of giving non-taxpaying illegal immigrants funding that her community needs. She wants to see the money be sent to an opioid fund to address the crisis.

"We need opioid treatment on the west side of Chicago. We are the headquarters of the cartel, and everybody in here knows it. So, I'm asking y'all to say 'No.' Put these people on the back burner, and put the money back in the opioid fund. We need that money," she said.

Mayor Johnson, who has previously defended the city's sanctuary policies, wants aldermen to approve the additional funding in a vote on Friday even though, according to the city's most recent statistics, Chicago has already invested $300 million in housing, food, and medical care for the recently arrived illegal immigrants, Fox News reports.

Another resident, who was also sporting a MAGA hat, complained to city council members about illegal immigrants bringing an increase in crime to cities across the US.

"They're showing up here in New York and Chicago attacking people in the streets," the woman said, according to Fox News. "The police are fighting with them in the… shelters that you guys are funding."

On Friday, Easley appeared on Fox & Friends and said Mayor Johnson's proposal is "the most disrespectful thing we've ever encountered in our lives."

"We've been paying property taxes in the city for generations, and to see them so openly give our money to people who don't deserve it is very insulting," she said.

"I want to thank our mayor for uniting the city in a way that we haven't seen since the '96 Bulls, and that's against him and this progressive agenda," she said.

Easley then predicted that Chicago voters will turn out in large numbers in November to demand change at the federal level since the city has united against Johnson's progressive agenda.

"We are looking forward to bringing back Donald John Trump Sr. as our 47th president," Easley told Fox & Friends. "He's the only president who has a plan to close the southern border, which is going to cut off the pipeline of human and drug trafficking that's flooding the West side of Chicago, and we cannot wait to get you back in office. Mr. President, please come see us in Chicago."
