Facebook and Instagram users were met with a message that the online services were down on Tuesday.
Meta’s signature social media platforms informed users of a “failure to load” on Tuesday morning.
The Downdetector website showed a huge spike in outages for both Facebook and Instagram just after 10 a.m. Eastern time Tuesday.
