Police in Long Island impounded an imitation presidential limousine that was used in a fake motorcade and carrying a Trump impersonator.
Setauket Patriots, a conservative pro-Trump Facebook group, organized the motorcade, which included a replica of the president's heavily armored, custom-built limo known as "The Beast," CBS News reported. One participant in the stunt also dressed as a Secret Service agent and carried a fake gun.
Det. Herman Lamison of the Southampton police said that the vehicle was driving through intersections with red and blue lights flashing, and drivers were pulling over to let the fake motorcade go by.
Police pulled over the limo driver and issued a summons for emergency lights, license plate and registration violations, and then impounded the imitation presidential limousine. The Secret Service is also investigating.
The group's founder, James Robitsek, told CBS that there was "no ill intent whatsoever," and the props were all part of the group's theatrics.
Now, that takes a ton of money what they did there just in the car alone! Why? Where did the money come from? This is weird at the very least.
