YOUR LAST HOUR

As a Christian, if you were told you have only one hour left to live, what would you do with that hour? Your answer will tell you what kind of Christian you are. So, think about this. Contemplate it seriously because our life on this earth could be less than an hour. (James 4:14) Nobody knows the amount of time we have before we die. The amount of time we have to spend with our family. The amount of time we have to repent and come to the Lord. Many people think that they will grow old before they die. However, we all die when God says it’s time. Even tomorrow could be our vary last day on earth. We don’t have time to waste. We don’t have time to habitually sin, for the Lord sees everything. We don’t have time to dwell on the things of this world. We need to live this life as if it was our last. We need to give thanks to the Lord each day for another day we have breath. We need to live each day for the Lord. Use your last hour to pray asking God to forgive you of any unrepented sins. We want to meet our Lord with white garments. This is one of the most important things we can do in that last hour. Many would spend it with family. Many would spend it in tears because they loved this world more than they loved Jesus. Now for the Christian there is life beyond the grave, but the point here is your time on earth is limited. You only have so much time for the things God has called you to do here. So make the most of every opportunity. “Only one life, ’twill soon be past; Only what’s done for Christ will last.” (C.T. Studd) Time is a precious gift from God. Don’t waste the time you’ve been given. Make your time count, both for now and eternity. Romans 13:11-- And do this, understanding the present time: The hour has already come for you to wake up from your slumber,because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed.
