Leftists Freak Out as President Trump Reportedly Plans to Send Military to Chicago, Including Possibly ACTIVE DUTY Forces

If anyone thought President Trump was bluffing when he said “Chicago is next” after cracking down on crime in DC, they are in for a rude awakening.

As The Gateway Pundit’s Jordan Conradson reported, Trump on Friday signaled that he is not stopping his crackdown on crime in Washington, DC, and told reporters that he plans to clean up Chicago, San Francisco, and potentially more Democratic cities across the country.

He signaled the Windy City would be first on his list.

“Chicago is a mess. You have an incompetent mayor, grossly incompetent, and we’ll straighten that one out probably next,” the President told reporters in the Oval Office. “That’ll be our next one after this, and it won’t even be tough.”

He continued, “I think Chicago will be our next, and then we’ll help with New York.”

Now, a Saturday report from the Washington Post has revealed that the Pentagon is planning to send the military to Chicago in the form of thousands of National Guard troops as soon as September.

Officials told the Washington Post that a military intervention in the city has been in the works for a while been in planning. The focus will be on cracking down on crime, homelessness, and illegal immigration.

The sources also added that the move will “probably” involve Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents, who will seek to round up illegal aliens like they did in D.C. The use of active duty forces has also been considered.

If successful, these tactics could be replicated in other cities on Trump’s list.

Following the news, leftists, including Keith Olbermann, went into meltdown mode at the thought of seeing troops clean up crime in Chicago and round up illegal invaders.
