Man in Taiwan Smoke Bombs Train Station and Goes Out on a Stabbing Rampage – Kills 3 People Before Reportedly Jumping to His Death From Department Store

It seems that no country today is free from knife violence.
Today, tragedy struck in the island of Taiwan.
A man staged an attack in which he smoke-bombed a train station, and after that went on a stabbing spree with a long knife, killing at least 3 people and injuring several others.
CBS News reported:
“A man with a knife and a smoke grenade attacked crowds indiscriminately in Taiwan’s capital on Friday evening, killing at least three people and injuring nine others, according to the national news agency and the city government. The suspect later fell to his death from a department store building.”
According to the Police, the suspect died in hospital after jumping from a building’s sixth floor, the Central News Agency reported.
“The suspect, identified as a 27-year-old man named Chang Wen, threw a smoke grenade near an underground exit of the Taipei Main subway station, close to the city’s main train station, sending pedestrians running, according to local media reports.”
The attacker entered a popular shopping district, stabbing multiple people before jumping to his death.
