Over 100 anti-Israel activists spent July 4 burning American flags in Manhattan’s Washington Square Park, as part of a coordinated protest called “Flood Manhattan for July 4.” Activists chanted, “F*ck Israel! F*ck America!” as other radicals cheered. Some chanted, “Death to America!” Freedom TV News was on the scene capturing footage of the protests.
With faces covered in keffiyehs, carrying torches, waving Palestinian flags, these agitators called for Revolution against America on the very day celebrating the nation's founding. The walked through Greenwich Village chanting against the nation that celebrates their right to speak freely.
An American flag was burned, per the New York Post, and some protesters had a poster reading "DEATH TO ALL KINGS" showing former President Donald Trump and President Joe Biden wearing crowns. Protesters opposing Israel and America have been popping off in New York ever since Palestinian terror group Hamas massacred 1,200 Israelis on October 7 and American backed ally Israel. America has also been providing aid and funds to Gaza, which is run by Hamas.
Keffiyeh-wearing rioters chanted “Free Palestine” and “Burn it down” throughout the evening as they tore through neighborhoods.
The activist mob allegedly assaulted one person wearing an American flag who was celebrating America’s Independence Day. They marched through Chelsea and interrupted those trying to enjoy fireworks and celebrate the country.
Some Hamas-supporting activists broke away from the main group and chanted, "Revolution! Revolution!" while running down city streets and lighting up flares. According to the NYPD, at least one person was arrested.
