It’s been reported by the NYPD that they’ve found a suspicious device in some kind of vehicle related to the IED thrown by a couple of Muslims at a crowd of American protesters yesterday.

First, here’s the breaking news:

In connection with the ongoing investigation into the improvised explosive device deployed yesterday, the NYPD has identified a suspicious device in a vehicle on East End Avenue between 81st Street and 82nd Street. NYPD officers have frozen the area around the vehicle and are conducting limited evacuations of buildings in the vicinity while the Bomb Squad assesses and removes the device.

Yesterday a reported ‘smoke bomb’, which turned out to be an IED filled with nuts, bolts, nails and screws, was throw by two Muslims into a crowd of anti-Islam protesters in New York City at the Gracie Mansion. Thankfully, the device failed to go off properly and only smoke came out. Otherwise it could have been very bad:

The media is claiming this device was thrown at the Muslim mayor’s home, but in reality it had nothing to do with the mayor. It was designed to kill the protesters.

Viral News NYC, or Leeroy Johnson, wrote this about the attack:

Dozens Could’ve Died’: NYPD Officers Push Back on Media Coverage of Gracie Mansion Attack :Exclusive I spoke with multiple law enforcement sources who were at Gracie Mansion during yesterday’s attempted terrorist attack. Officers described a chaotic and terrifying scene, saying they feared they might not make it home. Some tried to push protesters out of harm’s way, but not everyone complied. Several sources also expressed frustration with the media coverage, saying it downplays the severity of what happened. Dozens could have been injured or killed, they stressed, yet some outlets are spinning it as minor or routine. NYPD sources additionally complained about journalists and photographers at the scene. They said they tried to push media personnel back for safety, but some ignored instructions. Officers told me they’re growing exhausted and frustrated by the job, especially when facing such life-threatening situations. One officer mentioned he was fortunate to make it home safely to his family.
