Portland Antifa blog brags about attacking entire Enterprise lot over DHS rentals

An Antifa-linked Portland blog has published another claim of responsibility for a vandalism attack, this time targeting an Enterprise Rent-A-Car lot in northeast Portland in retaliation for the company's business with the federal government.

According to a statement posted on the extremist blog Rose City Counter-Info, all vehicles at an Enterprise location near Sandy Boulevard and Northeast 28th Avenue were vandalized and disabled early on Jan. 27. The blog claimed the attack was carried out as revenge for Enterprise renting vehicles to the Department of Homeland Security, which oversees Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

"[W]e crept into the Enterprise Rental lot on on [sic] Sandy Blvd. and 28th and disabled every car, truck, and van parked there," reads the statement posted on Rose City Counter-Info. The post said awls — sharp, pick-like tools — were used to puncture tires and added that "each vehicle also received a complementary paint job."

The blog said the vandalism was intended to intimidate Enterprise into cutting ties with DHS, writing that the attack took only minutes and left the entire lot of cars inoperable. It further claimed that Enterprise canceled a Portland-area hiring event as a result of the incident. "Oopsie!" the post said.

Portland Police confirmed the vandalism, telling The Post Millennial that officers responded to the Enterprise location and found approximately a dozen vehicles damaged.

"It appears between the evening of January 26 and the morning of January 27, at least one person came onto the property," a police spokesman said. No arrests have been made, and police said they do not currently have suspect images to release.

Left-wing activists in Minneapolis have also targeted Enterprise by sabotaging its operations or protesting at its locations.

Rose City Counter-Info has for years published claims of responsibility for domestic terrorist attacks on property and infrastructure, along with posts encouraging ideological allies to engage in criminal activity. Its logo — a red rose inside a black bomb — closely resembles branding used by Rose City Antifa. The two groups share the same ideology and tactics.

Last October, the blog promoted a so-called "Laser Tag" event that encouraged comrades to aim high-powered lasers at aircraft flying over the ICE facility during nightly riots. The goal was to blind pilots and cause aircraft crashes. After the event drew public scrutiny, liberals and Democrat-aligned commentators falsely claimed it was a right-wing "false flag" operation.

Since June 2024, the blog has also published names, photographs and home addresses of individuals it claims are ICE agents, including photos of their family members. In the lead-up to the November 2024 election, it urged followers to engage in violence to disrupt the democratic process.

The site has additionally claimed responsibility for multiple attacks on critical infrastructure, including an incident in June 2024 in which suspects attempted to cut support cables on a power pylon in Forest Park. In May 2024, it also took credit for torching roughly 15 Portland police vehicles in a parking lot. No one has been arrested over that arson attack.
