Rep Greene Will Introduce Resolution to Expel Maxine Waters from Congress for Inciting Violence

U.S. Representative, Marjorie Taylor Greene, says she will soon be introducing a resolution to expel the 30-year liberal congresswoman, Maxine Waters, from the House of Representatives for her continual and blatant acts of inciting violence against innocent Americans.

Very soon I'll be introducing a resolution to expel @RepMaxineWaters from Congress for her continual incitement of violence on innocent American people. Rep Waters is a danger to our society. — Marjorie Taylor Greene 🇺🇸 (@mtgreenee) April 18, 2021

On Saturday, Waters spoke in the Brooklyn Center in a Minneapolis suburb where Daunte Wright, a black male who was resisting arrest and fighting police officers was shot last week. During her speaking event, Waters called on protesters to become more confrontational.

“I’m going to fight with all of the people who stand for justice,” said Waters, who is Black. “We’ve got to get justice in this country and we cannot allow these killings to continue.”

Waters continued, “We’ve got to stay on the street and we’ve got to get more active, we’ve got to get more confrontational. We’ve got to make sure that they know that we mean business.”

“I hope we’re going to get a verdict that will say guilty, guilty, guilty. And if we don’t, we cannot go away.”

Republican leader, Kevin McCarthy said that Waters is “inciting violence in Minneapolis just as she has incited it in the past.” He said that if Nancy Pelosi doesn’t act against this “dangerous rhetoric,” that he would bring action himself this week.

Republicans are tired of the double standard. In January, President Donald Trump was accused and wrongly impeached for “inciting violence” at the nation’s Capitol after giving a speech and clearly calling on people to peacefully protest. Greene’s resolution would be a small first step in correcting the injustice against conservatives, but it remains to be seen if Congress has the willpower to follow through.
