Violence erupts outside of Charlie Kirk U Washington event as Antifa militants attack journalist

A group of Antifa militants attacked journalist Johnathan Choe and his security guard on the campus of University of Washington near a tabling event with Charlie Kirk. The Antifa carried umbrellas and were dressed in black bloc. Police were called to the scene and began an investigation.

Kirk had a scheduled speech at the university which had been protested by Gaza camp activists who had been calling for intifada in Israel. Choe was on campus covering the scheduled protest against Kirk, which was relatively nominal. Patriotic students challenged the Antifa militants to a push-up contest. The militants declined.

"There goes the neighborhood," Choe said of the altercation. "Massive battle royale at the UW Quad Tuesday afternoon. An Antifa mob and their soy boyfriends tried to corner me and my crew. They always send the skinniest dudes or the most overweight activists in my direction." He said that he filed multiple police reports on the incident.

Video from Sofia Schwarzwalder shows Choe being followed by militants until they finally become aggressive against him and he breaks into a run. A brawl ensues.

Kirk's speech was sold out. His tabling event was not disrupted, despite the best efforts of Antifa militants who sought to shut it down, claiming that his speech made them unsafe.

The speaking event was targeted for a planned disruption by Gaza camp activists and Antifa militants. A "fascist alert" went out to rouse activists and militants to demonstrate against Kirk.

The Gaza camp protesters have been under the impression that protesting a speech by political commentator Charlie Kirk is a way to "defend Rafah" and "support students" as Israeli forces battle Palestinian terror group Hamas. Antifa and the student activists are on the side of the terror group.
