A transgender 13-year-old was arrested and expelled from Les Paul Middle School in Waukesha, Wisconsin, last year after plotting a Columbine-style school shooting, but parents were never informed of the threat. Whistleblowers now allege the district buried the case out of fear of backlash against the transgender community.
According to expulsion records obtained by The Dan O’Donnell Show, the trans-identified female student spent months messaging classmates about guns, ammunition, and creating a “hit list.” The student allegedly bragged about having access to a firearm and “hundreds of rounds” of ammunition.

On October 28, 2024, the student and a suspected accomplice, identified only as “Student A,” agreed to start drafting a hit list. Just days later, Student A posted a TikTok video featuring the suspect dressed in a black trench coat, sunglasses, and a dark shirt with a red logo, an outfit eerily reminiscent of the Columbine shooters. In the video, the suspect referenced guns and boasted that the suspect could easily access them at home.
Both students were briefly suspended, but their plotting reportedly continued. A school resource officer later uncovered more disturbing videos and images, including one where the pair filmed themselves in the school library harassing a classmate and displaying pictures of students they described as their “hit list.” When confronted, both admitted to having “school shooter ideations.”
A forensic search of the suspect’s phone revealed chilling internet searches such as “school shooting targeted list,” “keeping a kill list,” “trans kill hit list,” and “can 13-year-olds be arrested.” The teen was arrested on suspicion of making terrorist threats and referred to juvenile authorities. Because juvenile records in Wisconsin are sealed, it remains unclear whether she was ever charged or convicted.
The Waukesha School District quietly expelled the student at the end of the school year, but never warned families about the threat. Dan O’Donnell, who broke the story, told The Ari Hoffman Show on Talk Radio 570 KVI that parents are furious. “There is a whole lot of rage and anger here,” O’Donnell said. “People are furious that the local media have not picked up this story. In fact, there’s been a total blackout of it, even though I posted all of the documents right on social media.”
O’Donnell explained that the cover-up appears deliberate. “A couple of people very close to it said, ‘Look, this was covered up. This happened last year…’ and the school district, they believe, covered it up because they didn’t want backlash against the transgender community.”
According to O’Donnell, investigators have no doubt that the school resource officer’s quick action prevented a mass tragedy. “One of the Waukesha police investigators on this case said there’s no doubt in his mind that had this not been caught… this would have led to a school shooting. Literally, they dodged the bullet.”
During the interview, it was noted that the left has long claimed people in “mental health crises” shouldn’t have firearms, yet school districts and activists insist on “affirming” transgender students, no matter how unstable their behavior becomes. “Here, too, in the Waukesha case,” O’Donnell added, “a 13-year-old girl all of a sudden thinks she’s a boy. Well, she also thinks she was playing dress-up as Dylan Klebold… cosplay not just as any boy, but specifically one of the Columbine killers. Thank heavens this was treated as the serious flashing red warning sign that it was.”
Despite repeated questions, the Waukesha School District has refused to explain why parents were never notified. In a short statement to The Dan O’Donnell Show, officials said only: “Student safety is our number one priority in the Waukesha School District. If there is a safety concern, our district policies and procedures are followed to address the matter. We do not comment on any student disciplinary matters.”
The case highlights growing concerns that schools are prioritizing ideology over safety, a pattern underscored by last week’s deadly shooting in Minneapolis, carried out by another biological male who identified as a woman.
