COME TO THE THRONE

Hebrews 4:16: Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. We have the privilege of going before the throne in times of sorrow, need, fear, or worry. Even the non believers can and do go before the throne when they are in a devastatingly dangerous situation. But, how many of us use that privilege on a daily basis? It’s there always for our use but it seems we don’t use it often. We can use that time before the throne to ask for protection, for provisions, for healing, and to give Him praise for all He has done and will do. Not making use of that privilege is like being able to go to the grocery store and get all the free food you want, but you decide not to do it. This doesn’t make sense. Could it be some have gotten lazy? Or, could it be that some have gotten so busy with the world’s problems that they now have no time? Or, worse yet, could it be you have lost your faith and don’t believe it will help anyway? Don’t let the fact that you are growing weak in your faith keep you from the throne. Being before Jesus will rebuild that faith. The reason your faith has gotten weak is because you have spent little time before the throne. Jesus is there, waiting on you. He’s there because He loves you and wants to help you. All you have to do is make that step to come to the throne.
