DON’T BORROW TROUBLE

“And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work” (2 Corinthians 9:8). Lately, this world has given us a plethora of fresh new reasons (and recycled old ones) to walk through our days in fear, confusion, worry, and shame. We can borrow trouble from hard days that haven’t even hit us. When going through our day, do we think that the rest of the day will be just as lousy as it is at that moment? We are borrowing from the moment’s troubles to continue for the rest of the day. This stops us from enjoying the wonders ahead and the blessing of joy and laughter God will give us. Remember that God only gives us one day to live at a time, so enjoy that time and do not allow a moment of trouble to last all day. We must push it away and not allow it to steal the joy God has for us in the remaining hours of the day. "Now to Him who is able to do so much more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us..." (Ephesians 3:20). Let God make our day a good one. Don’t let the enemy complete his task of ruining our time. Spend the rest of the day with a smile, some laughter, and look at all the beauty around you. God blessed us with all of that to make our day joyous.
