ENCOURAGE THE YOUTH

1 Timothy 4:12 -- “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.” When people write inspirationals, it’s often directed at the older Christian, without including the young. But both should be included. Young people, like Timothy, have a hard time gaining the respect of not only their peers, but the mature as well. Young people, don’t let that stop you from spreading the gospel. Like Timothy, keep strong, stay the course, and do it with love. Live a life of purity so you will be taken seriously. Mature Christians should help the up-and-coming pastors, who are the future of the church, to mature in their faith -- with guidance and support. In these days of darkness, encouragement should be given to all, including the young who are trying to further the Kingdom. We all need to help one another grow the church and save souls -- age doesn’t matter in this endeavor. Young and old should go hand in hand in getting the job done. Our days are coming to a climax and the harpazo (rapture) is near. Encourage one another more than ever before!
