GIVE THE GOOD NEWS WITH LOVE

As followers of Christ, our goal is to further the kingdom with the gospel (good news) of Jesus Christ. As Paul told those in Thessalonica, we should share the news of our Savior in a gentle way. Paul says, “But we were gentle when we were with you, like a mother taking care of her children. Because of our love for you we were ready to share with you not only the Good News from God but even our own lives” (1 Thessalonians 2:7-8). Paul reminds us to spread the good news of Jesus and to do it with love and gentleness. People are drawn in when you witness in this way. According to the Lord Jesus, love for others is the new commandment -- “And now I give you a new commandment: love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. If you have love for one another, then everyone will know that you are my disciples” (John 13:34-35).This is what being gentle means when you are spreading the gospel. When you exude love, it will draw others to Christ like a moth to the light. Be gentle, show His love, and share the good news of Jesus. Love is the way.
