GOD LAUGHS

The world is full of evil plans and much of it is directed at God’s people. The wicked persecute God’s people or corrupt them with deception. The enemy uses the government, family, neighbors, even church to come against the godly. But God laughs! “Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his anointed, saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision" (Psalm 2:1-4). The evil ones who are coming against the godly will one day be judged for their actions. God laughs at the proud man or woman who thinks so highly of themselves that they would dare come against Him. God is in complete control and one day He will bring all governments, people and spiritual powers into absolute submission. God is not afraid, confused, or depressed about the opposition our enemies present; and we shouldn't be, either. Remember, God is all-knowing, all-present, and all-powerful; He laughs at the enemy because He sees their end!
