HOLDING JESUS’ HAND

There’s a song title, “I Can't Even Walk (Without You Holding My Hand),” that I found to be a true statement. Many of us think that our walk each day is on our own, but we don’t realize that Jesus is leading us by the hand. The problem comes when we, like children, jerk our hands out of His and fall flat on our faces. Things start to go wrong and before you know it, we are calling out to Jesus for help. Just as we did with our children, Jesus helps us up and dusts us off. He takes our hand again and leads us to safety. If your life is full of chaos, despair, and turmoil -- ask yourself if you are still holding Jesus’ hand. "And I will lead the blind in a way that they do not know, in paths that they have not known I will guide them. I will turn the darkness before them into light, the rough places into level ground. These are the things I do, and I do not forsake them" (Isaiah 42:16).
