JESUS KEEPS HIS PROMISES

"I have told you this so that you might have peace in Me. In the world you will have trouble, but take courage, I have conquered the world" (John 16:33). Yes, Jesus did overcome this evil world on the cross at Calvary. However, He will not take full ownership of this planet until His second coming. Until then, we will have troubles and trials. Life is becoming very troubling in this new era we find ourselves in. We have the remnants of a “pandemic," we have rumors of wars, and the added dread of WWIII. There are so many troubles now that many are becoming stressed to the limits. Yet, we are told, “Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Go out to face them tomorrow, and the LORD will be with you" (2 Chronicles 20:17). So, if we remember that the Lord will be with us every step of the way and if we trust Him to keep His word, we have nothing to fear. Let’s give up all anxiety, worry, discouragement, and struggling that fear brings and follow God’s promises instead. We can embrace the peace, hope, and assurance He offers. After all, His record for keeping His promises are 100%.
