LOVE IS STILL ALIVE

I realize, in today’s upside down world and atmosphere of hate we believe there is no love left in the world. We have lost faith in the goodness that was once society’s strength. Our news shows us the wickedness and coldness that has engulfed our society rather than showing how society still cares for one another. Just look what happens in a natural disaster. People from all over come to the aid of the community that has been torn apart by some natural event. Go to the fundraising pages and look at how people are donating money to bless others. It will cause you to tear up to see the love that is poured out on people and communities who are suffering. Yes, kindness gets no press but it’s out there. The greatest commandment is to love one another as you love yourself. (Matt.22:39) I see people endangering their own lives to save another’s. John 15:13: Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. Yes, the adversary is hard at work to turn the world against one another because he knows his time is nearly at an end. The church is the light of this world. As long as the church is still on earth, love will still be alive.
