1 Corinthians 2:9 — “But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.”
Have you ever paused and truly pondered this verse?
God has given mankind a remarkable imagination. It’s how we’ve built cities, sent rockets into space, and turned dreams into reality. Man imagines it—then builds it. Yet Scripture tells us that even our greatest imaginings fall short of what God has prepared for those who love Him. That alone should anchor us in faith and fill us with holy anticipation.
If the Lord fashioned the heavens and the earth in six days—sun, moon, oceans, mountains, every winged creature and whispering breeze—
then what must He have prepared after two thousand years of divine craftsmanship?
John 14:2–3 — “In My Father’s house are many mansions... I go to prepare a place for you.”
We marvel at sunsets and symphonies, yet even these are but shadows of the glory to come.
He is not delayed. He is deliberate.
Every moment is a brushstroke in eternity’s masterpiece.
Revelation 21:4 — “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying...”
When the time is fulfilled, we will step into a place not built in haste, but in holiness—
a home prepared by the One who knows our hearts and longs to dwell with us.
It’s like a new husband preparing the perfect home for his bride, eager to spend every moment together.
How much more perfect will our Bridegroom, Jesus, make our eternal home?
Isaiah 64:4 — “Since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen... what He hath prepared for him that waiteth for Him.”
Colors no human eye has ever seen will dazzle us.
Sounds no ear has ever heard will stir our souls.
Our small human minds can’t begin to grasp the wonders God has in store.
So when life wears us down, and we’re hanging on by a thread—hang on to that promise.
Let it be the encouragement that carries you through the valley and into the light.
Because what’s coming isn’t just good—it’s glorious.
