Inspirational: MAXIMIZE OUR WORDS

Words are being weaponized in today’s world. Their meanings are twisted, stretched, or skewed. People use them to deceive, to insult, to injure, and to stir fear. But that’s not what words were created for. We’re living in an age where everything feels upside down — even the way words are used.

Across every walk of life, people have agendas, and they use their words to push those agendas forward as quickly and easily as possible. Those words often drip with venom, hate, distortion, and deception. They’re meant to manipulate, to shake confidence, to create fear, and to make the speaker look bigger than they are. That’s the dark side talking.

Words were never meant to manipulate people. God gave us words so we could communicate truthfully and clearly. But today’s mindset says, “maximize your words for greater impact.”

Well… if that’s the case, then here’s the idea that came to me:

If we’re going to maximize our words, let’s maximize them in the right direction. Let’s use our words to build up, not tear down. Let’s use our words to show love, not hate. Let’s use words that glorify God, draw hearts toward Jesus, and mend the broken places in people’s lives.

Imagine the world we’d have if we all chose to maximize our words that way — with truth, with kindness, with courage, and with the light of Christ. That’s impact worth making.
