THE IMPERISHABLE CROWN

Galatians 6:9: Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

Oh, how easy it is to stop being the salt and the light in this ugly world filled with hate and wickedness. One may say to themselves, “why try, nobody cares anyway.” The salt is gone in you if you are one of those people. Yes, we all get discouraged with the evil running rampant in this world but if we give up and stop being the salt and the light, then this world will grow even darker and more evil. We are the reason there is still some love and beauty left in this world. If we are no longer the salt and the light, the world grows dark and evil will take over completely. This will happen in the tribulation because we will be gone but don’t let it happen because you lost your hope. We are told to endure until the end and we will get a crown: The Imperishable Crown – (1 Corinthians 9:24-25) “Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it. And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate [disciplined] in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown” (NKJV) Keep that light burning until Jesus returns for His church.
