THE MOST IMPORTANT JOB

Paul wrote to Timothy, “But godliness with contentment is great gain, for we brought nothing into the world, and we cannot take anything out of the world.” 1 Timothy 6:6-7 We cannot take anything with us from this world, but we can leave an eternal impact on those who God has entrusted to us. God gave us children as a blessing. Our job is to raise them to be Godly people. They can then raise their children to be Godly as well. These children, while out in the world, will spread what they have learned from you. So, you see, your job is probably the most important job in the world. For what you give your children can make this world a better place or a worse place. We were given a great blessing but when we leave this world, what will you leave behind? Will you leave behind children that will be a blessing to society or ones who will be a curse to it. Never forget that the most important place God has called you is within the walls of your home. Stewarding, loving, serving, and nurturing the hearts he has placed near you. Proverbs 22:6: Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.
