THE MOST IMPORTANT NEWS OF ALL TIME

When we hear some good news, or find a great sale, or taste a great new culinary dish, we tell everyone who will hear all about it and never stop talking. But we are usually hesitant to share the most important news of all time. Surely other wonderful news can’t hold a candle to the most important news since the beginning of time. Surely a piece of good news for the day, or a great sale, or a good food can’t hold a candle to the most important news of the last 2,000 years. John 3:16- “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” We Christians are suppose to spread the good news of Jesus Christ, yet the world has conditioned us to remain mute for fear of offending a non believer. Those non believers will remain non believing and go to hell. Mark 16:15,16- And he said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. We wouldn’t hesitate to tell them about the awesome new restaurant we went to, but we won’t try to save their eternal lives from hell. We must witness so they may find the love and fellowship of God (1 John 1:3), the greatest of all treasures. I can think of no greater gift than salvation. It frees the sinner from sin, it delivers the lost from damnation, and it reveals the true and living God to those who don’t know Him. We must witness to the lost so they may find the love and fellowship of God (1 John 1:3), the greatest of all treasures. There is no greater gift than salvation: it frees the sinner from sin, delivers the lost from damnation, and reveals the true and living God to those who don’t know Him. There are many ways and many occasions to witness to those around us. Don’t let anyone pass by without taking advantage of an opportunity to share the Good News.
