WHERE DO YOU STORE YOUR TREASURES

This past week has been filled with losses. Many lives and property have been lost in natural disasters, wars, diseases, and in many other ways. It seems it’s never-ending and the losses grow day by day. Men place too much importance on their treasures here on earth; there is little time spent on building their treasures in heaven. Belongings here can be lost in a moment, but what we have stored in heaven will last throughout eternity. Jesus said, “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." -- (Matthew 6:19-21) We need to consider if our wealth is earthly or if it is heavenly. Remember, only the treasures in heaven are safe and eternal. Where will your treasure be stored?
