YOU ARE ABOUT TO GET YOUR CROWN

Have the events of the last couple of years broken you to the point that just making it through the day is a victory? Have your nerves been shattered and you wonder how are you going to make it another day? Please know that you are not alone. Jesus even warned us of this time in history when the church would be battle weary, and, then, He gave us hope in the same breath: “I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name. Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth" (Revelation 3:8,10). So, you see, we are winning the battle every time we persevere. And very soon, we will receive our reward for enduring to the end. What is that reward? A crown of righteousness. And as verse 10 states, Jesus will keep us from the hour of temptation. In other words, He will protect us from the hour of trial which is coming on the entire world. He will snatch us up and we will meet Him in the air. It’s His promise and He does not lie. So, cheer up -- you are at the end of this race and there is a reward at the finish line. You can do this! "Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown" (Revelation 3:11).
