JESUS IS HOPE

If you look at the world, you'll be distressed. If you look within, you'll be depressed. If you look at God you'll be at rest. Until you have given up yourself to Him, you will not have a real self. C. S. Lewis (2003) This quote is so true. Today, the world is a total disaster and chaos is everywhere. If we look at what is happening we will be distressed and sometimes to the point of becoming ill. Keep your eyes off this world and on Jesus. If you look inside yourself, it will surely depress you because you see all the failures in your life. You see how you have failed in your walk with the Lord. Depression sets in. Keep your eyes off of self and onto Jesus. Jesus will give us peace that we can’t give ourselves and the world can’t give us. God knew at the end of the age, things would get really hard to live through and His Word gives us something to hang on to. His Word gives us hope, inspiration, encouragement. When we get to the point we feel like we can’t go on, pick up that bible and read what God has to say and it will bring you back to peace, calm our fears, bring us joy, rid us of worries and sorrows. Romans 15:13: May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
