THERE IS PURPOSE IN EVERYTHING GOD DOES

Everything God does, everything God created, all has a purpose. We have a purpose, the flowers, the trees, the bugs, the oceans, etc. All of God’s creation has a purpose and all, except the humans, are doing God’s purpose. The trees give us oxygen, shade, lumber, and beauty. Flowers give us beauty, food, and medicines. Bugs are nature's garbage disposal. The oceans give us climate, oxygen, and sea life which is food. Yet, man seems to have ignored God’s purpose in his life. We each have a job to perform. God has anointed each of us for something. When God puts us to doing a job, He will make sure we have all we need to do that job; and He will protect us so we can do it (2 Cor. 9:8). But suppose we choose not to do the work He wants us to do. If we neglect His divine will and insist on going our own way, the Lord will let us face the consequences until we finally repent and turn back to Him. Confusion, conflict, cost, loss, regret, pain, and disaster are the prices we pay for turning away from what God put us here to do. If God’s creations do not produce -- they, too, die. We are no different. Proverb 29:1 says: “Whoever remains stiff-necked after many rebukes will suddenly be destroyed—without remedy.” This applies to many aspects of a Christian’s life. James reminds us in James 2:17 -- “Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.” God blesses those who do His will. Are you being blessed or are you experiencing confusion, conflict, and regret? Let’s check our walk and our faith. Let’s make sure we are doing God’s will. The road is a lot smoother when we are doing God’s will. Isaiah 26:7-8 states: "Lord, You make the path smooth for good people; the road they travel is level. We follow Your will and put our hope in You; You are all that we desire."
