WAIT ON THE LORD

When Paul was a new convert, he went to Jerusalem to meet the disciples. They were afraid of Paul because he had previously persecuted Jesus' followers. Next, we see an intervention: "But Barnabas took him and brought him to the apostles." -- (Acts 9: 27a)After a period of time, Paul left them and went to his home in Tarsus. There he stayed for nine or ten years waiting on the Lord to lead him in the direction He wanted him to go. We, too, must wait on the Lord. Sometimes it is a long time for us, sometimes it is not so long; but we must wait on the Lord to lead us. Don’t let the flesh take control, for the flesh will always fail. Wait on the Lord and you will be successful.
