WATCH: Teary Ilhan Omar Reappears to Plead for Cash from Supporters

A teary Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) returned to the public domain late Tuesday night with an appeal to her followers to send cash as she vowed a campaign trail return against the backdrop of her fight with the federal investigation into her immigration status.
A minute-long TikTok video from the back of a car was used to convey Omar’s plea as the embattled representative continues to lay low since her Washington, DC, home was searched last week as part of the now expanding federal probe, as Breitbart News reported.
The dewy-eyed Democrat lawmaker accused President Donald Trump of trying to “intimidate” her and “many other people” before the elections and seeks donations to “fight back”.
“We know that they’re running scared, we’re not going to be intimidated, we’re not going to be silenced, we’re not going to be scared,” she spoke in a sometimes quivering voice.
“I’ll be out there campaigning alongside all of you and making sure that we beat back all of this and that we win in the midterms — win the House, win the Senate and hold this administration accountable,” she continued.
“It is going to be a very expensive and challenging time and so we appreciate whether you’re able to send $5, $10, $20,” she said, ending with a “Thank you.”
Along with the immigration probe into Omar, U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro revealed this week her office has opened a financial investigation into the congresswoman, perhaps picking up an investigation the Biden administration had started into her reported multi-million-dollar personal net worth.
