WHERE CAN WE FIND PEACE

In an era of chaos, discontent, violence, wars and rumors of wars, division, wickedness of all ilk, one might start to grow weak in their faith. Where can I find peace, one might ask. We find that peace when we commune with the Lord daily. We find calm when we read His word. The bible is filled with encouragement for just these times. The Bible will give you hope in times of doubt, anxiety, and fear. Is. 26:3: You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.

Is. 40:31: but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

John 16:33: “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

These are a few bible verses that give hope and calms the spirit. Perhaps if you find the events of today too troubling, it would be a good idea to print out a number of scriptures and put them on your refrigerator, next to your bed, or anyplace where anxiety seems to hit you. Read your bible to get the peace we long for. Joshua 1:9: Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.” If you are looking for peace, it can only be found in Jesus!
