Inspirational:🌿 NOTHING IS TOO SMALL FOR GOD

Today, I stepped outside into what felt like a little slice of heaven. Cool air, no humidity, a soft breeze, and a sky so pretty that I said to the Lord, “God, that is so beautiful that even an artist couldn’t paint that!” I sat in my little sanctuary — my sitting area — and thought, “This place is almost perfect… it just needs something at the entry.”
I’ve always wanted an arch there, but I wasn’t about to pay over $100 for one. So I just sat, looking at the space, thinking how nice it would be.
And then the Lord spoke.
Not in thunder. Not in visions of angels. Just a gentle, cl ear whisper to my spirit:
“Linda, you have those black arches.”

I said out loud, “What black arches? I don’t know what You mean.” And instantly, He gave me a picture in my mind — a memory from nine years ago. I had bought four black arches for mandevilla vines. After that season, I hung them on the garage wall and completely forgot they existed.
But God didn’t forget.
He brought them back to my mind, showed me exactly where they were, and I suddenly saw the whole idea: Two arches on each side of the entry, with mandevilla climbing up them — not just an arch, but something more beautiful than anything I could have bought.
That was favor #1.
I called Jamie, who was inside playing a game (of course, LOL). I asked if he could go to Lowe’s for mandevillas. He reminded me his foot was still injured and he couldn’t walk all over the store. I apologized and said we’d do it another time.
A few minutes later, he came outside and said he could walk on the side of his foot — enough to go get the plants for me. God touched his heart and gave him the strength to do it. Then I told him about the arches and how it was not my idea!
Now, Favor #2.
Before he left, he brought me the walker in case I needed to come inside. And wouldn’t you know it — no sooner had he driven off than I had to go to the bathroom. I got up, moved the walker, and the wheel caught on a flagstone. My foot slammed into the wheel, and the pain nearly took me down. I’ll lose that toenail, just like the other one on the other foot… same toe too...but at least I’ll have a matching set and I like things to match! LOL
But even with the throbbing pain, I refused to let it ruin my day. The enemy tried — but the joke’s on him. My joy stayed right where it was.
When Jamie got back, he sat and talked with me for a good while — something I appreciated more than he knows.
Then, Favor #3.
Later, he placed the mandevillas against the arches and wove the tendrils through. I can already see in my mind how beautiful it will be — a welcoming entrance to my little heaven on earth.
Yes, the plants were $50 for two — outrageous compared to the $15 per plant that they used to be — but he bought them for my birthday next month, and that made it special.
As I sat there thinking about the whole day, I realized something:
God didn’t solve a war today. He didn’t fix the economy. He didn’t heal a disease. He didn’t move mountains.
He just made His daughter happy.
He reminded me of something I already owned. He nudged Jamie’s heart. He gave me companionship. He decorated my sanctuary. He wrapped the whole day in little touches of love.
And it proved something I wish everyone understood:
Nothing is too small for God. If it matters to you, it matters to Him.
“Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart.” — Psalm 37:4
“Your Father knows what you need before you ask Him.” — Matthew 6:8
“Every good and perfect gift is from above.” — James 1:17
Today wasn’t about arches or plants or even the weather. It was about a Father who pays attention to the tiny details of His child’s life.
And that’s why my heart is full — throbbing toe and all.
