PEACE I GIVE YOU

Isaiah 54:10 For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the Lord that hath mercy on thee. Without these assurances, life today would be nearly impossible to endure. Things are so bad now, that Christians are finding it difficult to find peace anymore. But, His peace will not be removed. When we feel like things are stressing us to the breaking point, we need to plunge into God’s Word and find peace there. John 14: 27--Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. This world has no peace in it but God is peace and gives it to us abundantly. So, the next time you start to stress out over the wickedness in this world, just commune with the Lord and read His Word, that’s where you will find peace.
