Have you noticed how the world keeps giving you less and charging you more?

Toilet paper used to fit the holder. Now there’s a gap big enough to rent out as a parking space.

Ground beef doesn’t taste like it used to but you pay more for it anyway. The point is they are changing product taste to save the cost to them but raising the price for you. Nothing is as good as it used to be but it costs more for the inferior product.

As an example, water —one day we might see the new frontier of corporate comedy:

  • Air‑Infused Water — they shook the bottle first.

  • Minimalist Water — they removed everything except the disappointment.

  • Water Zero — it’s just water, but the bottle is black so it costs $8.

  • Water‑Free Water — the bottle is empty, but “your soul will feel hydrated.”

The world keeps shrinking the product while inflating the price. You get less, you pay more, and you’re expected to smile while doing it.

But then… there’s God.

God doesn’t shrink His blessings. He doesn’t water down His promises. He doesn’t give you a “minimalist version” of His love.

He doesn’t say,

“New and improved mercy — now with 30% less grace!”

No. God never changes. “For I am the LORD, I change not.” — Malachi 3:6 His goodness doesn’t come in smaller portions. His love doesn’t thin out over time. His faithfulness doesn’t get reformulated. “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above… and with Him is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.” — James 1:17

The world gives you less and charges you more. God gives you more and charges you nothing.

He pours out:

  • mercy in full measure

  • grace without limits

  • strength without subscription fees

  • peace without shrinkflation

  • love without expiration

And He gives it freely — not because you earned it, but because He is good.

In a world that keeps giving you less, God remains the One who always gives you more. “His mercies are new every morning; great is Thy faithfulness.” — Lamentations 3:22–23

So, as the world disappoints, God will not. As the world gives you less, God will give you more. As long as you are His, there’s no end in His goodness.
